[ District news ] 2010-04-17Mobile phone operator Rabi (ex. Aktel) handed all the equipments of solar electricity system to 20 families of remote Bachamara village under Daulatpur upazilla in Manikganj district. At the equipments giving function, Chief Marketing Officer Bidyut Kumar Bose, Executive Director of Rural Services Foundation Ruhul Quddus and Regional Manager Asaduzzaman were present, among others. Each family using solar apparatus worth taka 11,700 could burn two bulbs.
The materials would be distributed to the rural people step by step.
