Razu discusses bank loan for expansion of Teletalk network

Minister for Post and Telecommunications Razi Uddin Ahmed Razu has discussed the Chinese EXIM Bank loan proposal for introduction of third generation mobile phone of Teletalk and expansion of "Two Point Five Generation Network Project" with the visiting Chinese delegation.
The discussion was held on Thursday when a three-member EXIM Bank Delegation, led by Assistant General Manager of Concessional Loan Department of the bank, Gao Bing, called on the minister at his secretariat office here.
Two other members of the delegation were Wang Zhijie, divisional chief of EXIM Bank China and Fang Xin Cheng, country manager of the bank.
Mentioning the existing excellent bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, the minister hoped that the relations between Bangladesh and China would be further strengthened in the days to come.
Additional secretary of the ministry Mohammad Rafiqul Islam, Chairman of BTRC Maj.Gen (retd.) Zia Ahmed, Managing Director of Teletalk Mojibur Rahman, among others, were present on the occasion.
