Govt starts preparations to introduce e-service at UZ level

The government has started preparations to introduce e-service through digitalization at the upazila level, the most important delivery point to reach services to the people's doorsteps.
As part of the preparations, a brainstorming session was held with the officials of agriculture ministry in the meeting room of the Cabinet Division.
Thirty officials from the agriculture ministry and departments and institutions under it took part in the meeting, said an official release.
The meeting discussed how and what kind of information and services can be provided to the people through the upazila one- stop service system.
Earlier, such meetings were held with officials of social welfare ministry and women and children affairs ministry.
Access to Information Programme expert Mostafizur Rahman coordinated the sessions.
Cabinet Division Additional Secretary Khandaker Anowarul Islam delivered the inaugural and closing speeches.
