Citycell to safeguard environment

Citycell has recently joined hands with the society for Community-health Rehabilitation Education and Awareness (CREA) to save the natural environment through newspaper recycle. Citycell CMO Kafil HS Muyeed handed over newspapers to Tarun Kanti Gayen, CEO of CREA at a program held on Sunday at Citycell's Head Office in the capital while Taslim Ahmed, Head of Marketing Communications of Citycell and Ms. Kazi Roushan Ara, Resource Coordinator of CREA were present at the ceremony. CREA will train its clients on making paper bags with these old newspapers at its Rehabilitation Centre. This initiative will support the clients through creating a source of income and to become self-dependent. Citycell will provid support to CREA in this regard through giving them old newspapers which will be used in making paper bags by recovering addicts coming from lowest strata of the society in order to reintegrate them to the society at large.
