Citycell CEO Mr. Mehboob Chowdhury launching PowerSMS service
through sending bulk SMS to all Citycell employees using PowerSMS
Citycell launched PowerSMS for individuals and enterprises on May 4, 2010. Citycell PowerSMS is a web based service which allows individuals and enterprises to send bulk SMS to a group of people. With this service, bulk SMS can be sent not only to Citycell numbers but also to other operators. Especially, this service is beneficial for corporate clients through which bulk SMS can be sent from an application to the customers by logging on towww.mycitycell.com/powersms. Citycell CEO Mr. Mehboob Chowdhury launched this PowerSMS service in Citycell's Head Office, Mohakhali, Dhaka. He said, "Subscribers can use this service for regular coordination with staff members through having regular updates on project management, can make corporate announcements, send reminders, notifications, advertisements and greetings in the most convenient way."
Citycell's Chief Operating Officer (COO) Mr. David Lee, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Mr. Kafil H.S. Muyeed, General Manager, Business Development and Strategic Initiatives Mr. Ahmed Armaan Siddiqui, Executive of Business Development and Strategic Initiatives Mr. A.B.M Saiful Bari, and other Citycell officials were present at the launching ceremony.
