2000 phones out of order in N'ganj

NARAYANGANJ, Apr 17: Nearly 2,000 telephone lines of the state-owned BTCL have been disconnected since Saturday morning. Even the telephone connections of the district police superintendent's office, model police station, hospitals, fire station, press club, power agencies and Titas Gas are out of order. Abdullah Patwary, the Narayanganj sub-divisional engineer of BTCL said due to technical problems, the phones have gone out of order.
