With the cheapest handset costing just 30 Euros, the Nokia C1, or more specifically, the Nokia C1-00 (the C1-01 and the C1-02 are non-dual SIM devices) marked as cheapest Dual SIM mobile handset in the world. The Nokia C1-00 offers inserting two SIM cards at once, remain active one SIM and just flicking a switch users will be able to switch the other SIM.
I have experienced some of friends keep on two mobile phones to always connect with family and others or price consciousness. Well, good news for my friends and such people just like my friends who have to uphold two mobile phones at a time. Nokia, the world largest mobile handset manufacturer, has launched a set of new mobile phone series which have dual SIM facility. The new Nokia C-series [C-2 and C1-00] mobile handset featuring twin SIM cards at once and cheap retail price with experiencing simple smart phone features.
Offering users a whopping stand by time of upto six weeks, which is also the longest ever for a Nokia phone, C 1 is perfect for people from the areas having limited electricity supply. Some of the prime features of handsets from C-1 range are color display, FM radio, 3.5mm audio jack, flashlight etc.The Nokia C2 comes with 2G handset features with the bonus of having dual SIM cards at once. It brings new hot swapped SIM card technology which enables users to remove and insert the second SIM card keeping the handset on.
The Nokia C2 introduce with seeming simple smart phone features like a VGA camera, support for GPRS (no EDGE), Bluetooth, an FM radio, a 3.5 mm audio jack, and support for microSD cards of up to 32GB. The cheap price at of only 45 Euros makes it affordable for middle class consumer.
The new phones are scheduled for release in Africa and Asia later this year. It is expected that the Nokia C1 [C1-00] will be shipped in the third quarter of 2010 while Nokia C2 are expected to be launched in the fourth quarter of 2010.
