Citycell to support the Higher Education Reform Project of Jahangirnagar University

The inauguration program of the Higher Education Reform project of Jahangirnagar University was held at Jahangirnagar University Senate Hall on May 9, 2010. Citycell came forward to support this project of Jahangirnagar University. The project focuses on the capacity building of the English Department and Citycell is sponsoring the Digital Lab of the Department of English of this University in this regard. Citycell CEO Mr. Mehboob Chowdhury was present as honorable guest at the inauguration program of this project.

In his valuable speech, Mr. Mehboob Chowdhury said that Citycell feels proud to be a part of this noble initiative through its support for the Digital Lab. He also added that he hopes that this university's students and teachers will be benefited with Citycell's Zoom Ultra, the country's fastest mobile internet. He said that Citycell's Zoom Ultra can now be used for quality District education throughout the District towns of Bangladesh in collaboration with public universities.

The guests of this inauguration program visited the place of Digital Lab at English Department of this university. Zoom Ultra Kiosk was available at the Digital Lab where the participants of the program received the opportunity to experience the facility of Citycell's Zoom Ultra.

Muyeed, Chief Marketing Officer, Mr. Taslim Ahmed, Head of Marketing Communications of Citycell and Professor Nazrul Islam, Chairman, University Grant Commission of Bangladesh, Professor Dr. Sharif Enamul Kabir, Vice Chancellor, Jahangirnagar University, Mr. Robert Beadle, Director, CID, Bangladesh office and others were also present at this inauguration program.
