Banglalink, DESCO sign bill payment service deal

Banglalink and Dhaka Electric Supply Co. Ltd. (DESCO) have signed an agreement to enable "Mobile Based electricity bill payment" service in DESCO operations area in Dhaka recently, says a press release. The signing ceremony took place at the Banglalink office at Gulshan. Khandaker Najibul Alam, manager (Procurement and Contract Management), DESCO and Ahmed Abou Doma, MD and chief executive officer, Banglalink signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations. Also present in the meeting were Engr. Md. Monzur Rahman, director (Technical) and Qudrate Khuda, director (Finance) of DESCO, Asher Yaqub Khan, chief commercial officer, Arif Mehmood Malik, sales director and Solaiman Alam, head of PR, communication, M Commerce and High Value Segments of banglalink. According to this agreement, Banglalink will collect electricity bills from DESCO consumers. Banglalink strives in making a difference through its innovative products and services.
