Banglalink, DBBL to launch mobile banking | ||||
Banglalink and Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited (DBBL) will collaborate with each other to launch mobile financial services and take them closer to the doorsteps of the customers. An MOU has been signed between the companies in this respect at the Banglalink head office in the city recently, said a press release. Banglalink's Managing Director and CEO Ahmed Abou Doma and DBBL's Managing Director Md Yeasin Ali signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations. DBBL Executive Committee Chairman Sayem Ahmed, Deputy Managing Director Abul Kashem Md Shirin and Banglalink Chief Commercial Officer Asher Yakub Khan, Marketing Director Shihab Ahmed, Head of Mobile Financial Services Solaiman Alam and Accounting Controller Shamsuddin Ahmed and other high officials from both the companies were also present at the signing ceremony. Ahmed Abou Doma said, "Banglalink is proud to be associated with DBBL. At Banglalink, all our efforts revolve around our customers- to make their lives easier and thus become much closer to them. This partnership will also help the large population of the country get banking service easily." Yeasin Ali said, "DBBL has always focused on creating meaningful banking solutions for the mass people utilising state-of-the-art technology. Our relationship with Banglalink will help us taking these solutions to the millions living in every corner of the country and thus assist Bangladesh to move forward." |
