Citycell has launched Zoom™ Ultra, in Khulna the fastest mobile internet in Bangladesh. On the eve of this occasion, Zoom™ Ultra Night was held at Hotel Royal International, KDA Avenue, Khulna on 4th April, 2010. The event was attended by top corporate executives, government officials, loyal Citycell customers and members of print and electronic media of Khulna.
Zoom™ Ultra is the new and upgraded package from Zoom™ mobile internet service which enables customers to access high-speed internet by simply connecting it to their laptop or desktop computer. It offers speeds starting from 150 kbps to 512 kbps. The different speed range caters to the different needs of the customers. Citycell is offering Zoom™ Ultra bundle at Tk. 4,500 with up to Tk. 600 free data usage.
Md. Asif Razzak, Regional Sales Manager, Citycell welcomed the guests at this program.
Prof. Dr. Md. Saifuddin Shah, Vice Chancellor, Khulna University attended this program as Chief Guest. He appreciated Citycell's initiative of offering Zoom™ Ultra in Khulna.
Citycell CEO Mr. Mehboob Chowdhury also gave his valuable speech where he highlighted the facilities of the country's fastest mobile internet Zoom™ Ultra.
Other high officials of Citycell were also present at this program.
All the guests received discount coupons of Zoom™ Ultra at this Zoom™ Ultra Night. With the coupons they can buy Zoom™ Ultra package at a special discount from Customer Care Centre in Khulna. A raffle draw and dinner were also held as part of the program.
Citycell and Link3 Technologies Limited entered into a strategic partnership
Citycell signed a strategic partnership agreement with Link3 Technologies Limited on 30th March, 2010 at Citycell's Head Office, Mohakhali, Dhaka. Under this agreement, Link3 Technologies is awarded a classified project which will benefit Citycell's customers for application and content.
Citycell's CEO Mr. Mehboob Chowdhury and Link3 Technologies Limited's CEO Mr. Babar Huda signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
Citycell's CEO Mr. Mehboob Chowdhury mentioned, "This project will ensure a milestone of internet usage and innovation which will add a huge value to the Digital Bangladesh drive of the nation."
Mr. Ahmed Armaan Siddiqui, General Manager, Business Development and Strategic Initiatives, Mr. Shafiq Shamsur Razzaq, Senior Executive, Data Innovation and Content of Citycell and Mr. Shamimul Islam, Manager and Head of Web Solutions of Link3 Technologies with other officials of both the organizations were also present at this signing ceremony.
